History
Partner Logistics has been founded by Bram Hage at the end of the twentieth century. Working for a large Dutch logistic service provider, Bram proposed an automated warehousing solution to LambWestonMeijer as response to their tender for warehousing services. The moment his employer decided to withdraw from the tender, Bram decided to found Partner Logistics to participate in the tender procedure.
In cooperation with suppliers and informal investors, Partner Logistics managed to win the tender and signed its first long-term contract for operating an automated cold store in 2000. This first site in Bergen op Zoom (the Netherlands), with a capacity of 65,000 pallet places, became operational in 2002. Also in the same year a second site in Waalwijk (the Netherlands) with a capacity of 33,000 pallet places became operational.
Since then, Partner Logistics has developed into one of the leading logistic service providers, in the field of operating automated warehouses within Europe. The site in Bergen op Zoom has been expanded 2 times and currently has a capacity of 126,000 pallet places. In total currently 12 sites in Europe are operated for clients in food, retail and consumer goods.
